Auditions for this year's Fall Play will be held on Tuesday, September 10th at 3:30 pm in Mr. Hoyt's room, room 293. Scene cuttings will be provided at the audition and we are looking for guys and girls from Freshmen to Seniors.
The auditions will last until 5:30 and everyone will be finished in time for the 6 pm activities bus.
If you are unable to attend Tuesday's auditions, please come and see me, Mr. Hoyt, in my room - room 293 BEFORE auditions.
The Joliet Central Drama Department is seeking a set builder and designer. The position is responsible for construction and over-site of three sets: our Fall Play, Contest Play, and Spring Musical. The Joliet Central Drama Department presented the first annual Steelmen Drama Scholarship to seniors Hanna Hagerty and Kiara Brown. Hanna and Kiara are 4 year drama students that have made strong contributions to the growth of the program and will be missed tremendously. We wish them well as they move on to Illinois Wesleyan University and Syracuse University.
The Joliet Central Drama Department is seeking set designers for our 2019 - 2020 season. Sets are needed for our Fall Play, Contest Play, and Spring Musical. We are open to having one designer for all three productions or a separate designer for each. Details of our productions will be shared after the selected designer(s) are notified. The Joliet Central Drama Department has embarked on our last fundraiser of the 2018-19 school year. Drama students are selling school-approved, healthy snacks for $1 each. Find one of our 38 sellers and help support Central Drama while enjoying a tasty treat.

There will be a mandatory speech meeting for returning members on Monday, April 22 in Mr. Hoyt's room from 3:30 to 4:15.
