Joliet Central High School's Drama department provides students with a well-rounded program that incorporates acting, directing, design, on-camera performance, writing, stage make-up, voice and diction, and script analysis. The goal is to prepare students for real world application of necessary life skills like communication, speaking in public, adaptability, confidence, teamwork, listening, and problem-solving. For those interested in pursuing any level of theatre beyond high school, whether it's college, professional, or recreational, Joliet Central Drama prepares students for that path as well.
We offer our students three levels of drama courses, a Fall Play, Spring Musical, Contest Play, Speech Team, and Technical Theatre opportunities.
